Hey so AD Jameson over at htmlgiant polled out for the best short stories people read over the last few years, by year. CLICK HERE for his results with links to most of the stories.

Testimony of Pilot by Barry Hannah was on the list, even though he wrote it in like 1974. Maybe he put out a new edition recently or something. Either way, that story is phenomenal. One of the best short stories I read last year was that Edouard Leve story in the Spring 2011 Paris Review (The one with the part one of that posthumous Bolano novel in it) but I guess it didn’t make the cut. The story was called When I Look At A Strawberry, I Think Of A Tongue.
